Curtain walling for commercial or domestic applications

Curtain walling can be used within commercial buildings or domestic properties where a large visual glazed area is needed. It usually consists of an aluminium frame typically infilled with glass, which provides an architecturally pleasing building, as well as providing benefits such as daylighting.

 

Considerations for design requirements include thermal expansion and contraction, building sway and movement, water diversion and thermal efficiency for cost-effective heating, cooling, and lighting in the building.

Curtain walling can be glazed with glass sealed units or composite panels depending on your design. All visible aluminium profiles can be powder coated to a standard RAL colour or anodised.

 

In addition to curtain walling, window walling is available for use in entrances, stairwells and medium rise applications. This can incorporate 90° to 135° corners and variable angle facades.
