Product specfication.

Each project is individual and will require it's own specification. The following choices are available although we can offer many more.

 

All aluminium profiles that EKS manufacture are prepared to a standard RAL colour or anodised finish, along with handles and other visible mechanisms. EKS will provide all aluminium profiles and mechanisms to your required finish, wherever possible.

 

With regard to security, EKS will fabricate windows and doors to your requirements:

  • Entrance doors with standard locking or multipoint locking
  • Windows with standard closing mechanisms or multipoint locking with key locking handles
  • Sliding doors with standard straight sliding multipoint locking or high security lift and slide multipoint locking
  • Tilt and turn windows with standard non locking handles or key locking handles

           

 

Glazing specification and requirements:

 

  • Standard air filled sealed units - sealed units with an argon filled cavity - sealed units with a low E coating - sealed units with a warm edge cavity spacer bar
  • Acoustic requirements (call or send enquiry)
  • Glass backed spandrel panels or coloured ceramic backed spandrel panels
  • Aluminium insulated composite panels - standard RAL or anodised

Ventilation

  • Slot trickle ventilation or glazed-in ventilation - by request

 

An extruded projecting cill section can be incorporated with most windows and doors or an aluminium pressing can be fabricated as an alternative.

 

Aluminium pressings can also be used in other cases to cover or cloak a void.
